Privacy

The form asks for three things: your name, your email address, and your message. It asks for nothing else.

Nothing is saved on this site. These pages are plain files with no database behind them, so there is nowhere here for a message to be kept. The form is handled by Web3Forms, an outside service that takes what you typed and delivers it to Greg by email.

Your email address is there so that Greg can write back to you. There is no mailing list.

The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile. It is a check that runs in your browser and tells the form whether it was filled in by a person or by a machine. Sometimes it shows a small box to tick; often you will not see anything at all. It runs from Cloudflare, so Cloudflare sees that the check took place.

Page views are counted with Google Analytics, a service run by Google. None of it loads until you say yes: when you first arrive, a panel at the foot of the page asks, and nothing is counted and nothing is put on your device until you have answered.

If you say yes, Google Analytics puts a small file — a cookie — on your device. It is what lets Google tell one visit from the next, and Google may connect what you do here with what you do on other sites it measures. If you say no, none of that is loaded at all, and the site works exactly the same.

You can change your mind whenever you like. Every page has a link at the foot that asks again, and choosing no takes the file off your device.
